Here are some more of my private little projects, I’ve done mainly for friends and fellow students .
One friend of mine is involved in his city activities and for Christmas 2010, they thought about presenting a little calendar on their website. So I’ve created a drawing of the four churches in the near surrounding gathering around a little Christmas tree. And for the final Christmas Eve “door” I’ve created another drawing of the town hall as a final present.
There was also a project of a friend in my own home town. He wanted to introduce a small music festival and asked me to draw a little illustration where everybody in town could feel that they are welcome. The logo itself was given, but I’ve added some color and the nice little birdie who represents our heraldic animal. It later was used also for the facebook event and the flyers and posters in town.
There were also some people who asked me to create logos for some of their projects. I really like to iterate those ideas although it’s often hard to meet quite the taste of the people. Logos are really a big field where everything could be great or bad, depending on the context.
A social media platform, dealing with clothes and beauty stuff, asked me to draw some avatars for their users. And a fellow students wanted me to draw him some kind of representation of himself in a style he preferred.
There was also a friend who asked to draw the monkey from the film “night at the museum” in his space suit as a “stuffed animal”. She wanted to use it in a little speech she gave at her studies. Another friend asked me to draw this smiling horse for a website he was creating for a local riding school.
It’s always interesting and fun to work on such little projects an I hope I will always find the time to do such stuff for friends. 😮
