That’s true because it’s often hard to get the brush to draw at that exact place that you want it to. But somehow that makes the charm of this project even bigger. It’s really great to grab some ideas by doodling around on the platform.

There’s also the possibility to re-watch your drawing process with the playback feature. I LOVE to watch the drawing again also in between because I can think about the picture and what’s still missing more efficiently. It’s also fun to watch the pics of others and how they’ve started.

Sometimes I just miss the “return step” possibility but as they want to have a realistic sketchbook I think this is necessary. There are also some featured sketches on the main page. And lucky me I’ve also got 2 times chosen for a featuring. I was very happy realising it although this means nothing special.

Sometimes the website is a little slow.

I must say that I liked the “old” trades in Leipzig better, but maybe only because this was the first time I visited the “exclusive day for industry professionals and the press“. The good point on that day was, that there were not as many people as usual and I really came to play and test every game I wanted. On the bad side, some parts of the event were not finally build up and some stage shows did not take place. The worst point was, that even the most food stands did not open up and I ended in a long queue at one of the only food shops open.

As this was the day for the press, many cameras and people with microphones were walking by. As I were sitting down at a game, they were even coming to me, position a camera in front of me and asking, weather I would answer a question for their show about woman and computer games. But I got a scare and refused to answer their question 

The next 2 days I visited Cologne and the Cathedral (sooo many steps). I even walked a little in the Rhine. As this was one of the hottest days for this year in Germany, I even wanted to swim between the big cargo ships but I was missing my swim suit.

I hope to visit Cologne ones again. It is a great city!

I’m using an iMac and a Wacom Intuos4 tablet. The mouse is an “old” Logitech one from my friend.
Also the printer is an old one from Hewlett-Packard.

Very important are also: my Sony Ericsson handy, for making snap-shots on the go,
my iPod for its calender function and my non-digital notepad for scribbling new ideas.

Moreover I’m drinking peppermint tea. And on my leather chair lies a yoga pillow. 

Luckily, I got one of the winning entrys.
